Cloudly was born out of a problem James and Nick kept seeing firsthand. Working closely with clients on their VoIP systems across Australia, they noticed a recurring frustration — businesses had access to call recordings and phone infrastructure, but no real way to make sense of it all. The intelligence was there, buried in hours of audio, but extracting anything actionable was time-consuming, inconsistent, and often just didn't happen.
Drawing on the team's combined 60+ years of experience in the Australian IT industry, James, Nick, and Craig set out to build a better solution — one grounded in a deep understanding of how businesses actually operate and what they genuinely need from their communications stack.
